Create a Scene

Not using lighting scenes? Skip this step.

Command your lighting to specific levels to suit your tasks or mood by creating scenes that can be operated from your HALO Home devices, schedules, or voice commands.

Note: Voice commands require a HALO Home Internet Bridge and either an Amazon Alexa or Google Home account/device.

1. Tap the " ☰ " menu button.

2. Navigate to “Scenes” and tap the " + " icon (or select a previously created scene).

3. Enter a short unique name for your scene and press “ + ”.

4. Drag and drop devices from the bottom to the top screen area to add them to the scene.

5. Tap each device to define its light level (and color temperature for devices that support this) for the scene.

6. Tap “Next” to save the scene.

Edit a Scene

1. Tap the Scenes menu item in the main menu.

2. Tap the three vertical dots on the scene you wish to modify.

3. Tap the pencil icon.

4. Drag members in and out of the scene to meet your lighting needs.

5. When everything is to your liking, tap Save at the top right of the screen.

6. HALO Home will save your modified Scene.

7. Tap Dashboard at the top left return to the Scenes index.

8. You may now start your Scene using the mobile app, a Schedule, or via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Remove a Scene

1. Tap the Scenes menu item in the main menu.

2. Tap the three vertical dots on the scene you wish to remove.

3. Tap the pencil icon.

4. Tap the three vertical dots on the top right of the screen.

5. Press the Remove button.

6. Confirm that you want to remove the scene by pressing OK.

7. HALO Home will remove the scene from your account.

8. The scene is now removed from your account.
